The location IS superb! i easily reached the station. and the duomo was only a brief stroll away. the staff provided invaluable assistance. the rooms were spotlessly clean. I REALLY appreciated it. the building's charming character added so much.
the STREET noise did penetrate the room at times, a slight distraction.

The hotel location is very convenient. It is just a short walk from the train station. The staff were helpful and provided useful recommendations.
The stairs were an issue. Guests must carry luggage up two floors to reach the lobby. The bathroom was quite small and not well-organized.

this hotel has a great location near the train station. the staff were very friendly and helpful with directions. I liked the super clean clean bathroom and appreciated the many amenities provided. the building WAS beautiful and the bed in my large bedroom very comfortable.
the only minor issue I had involved some street noise at night. I think asking for a room in the back would solve this problem.

the room included a television with international channels and a mini fridge stocked with refreshments. Bed linens were changed daily, and fresh towels were provided each morning, nice. Closet space was sufficient for a several-day stay.

the location was acceptable, close to the train station.
the room i stayed in faced the street. it was very noisy at night. the hot water in the shower lasted only a few minutes, a real letdown after a day of walking. the lack of soundproofing and short hot showers were disappointing.
